Nine Stones, Altarnun

A Neolithic and Bronze Age stone circle on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, located 3 km south-southeast of Altarnun. The smallest stone circle on Bodmin Moor, it measures approximately 14-15 metres in diameter with eight granite stones forming the ring and one stone in the centre. The circle was restored in 1889 when only two stones remained standing, with six fallen slabs re-erected. It is one of the few circles in Cornwall with a central stone, though this may be a parish boundary marker rather than an original feature. Managed by English Heritage.
