The Holzbrücke Rapperswil-Hurden is a 841-metre wooden pedestrian bridge crossing the upper Lake Zurich in Switzerland, the longest wooden bridge in the country. Prehistoric timber piles discovered west of the Seedamm date back to 1523 BC, and the oldest remains from the Hurden Rosshorn site reach the Horgen culture period (c. 3400-2800 BC). These Bronze Age stilt house settlements are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps. The modern bridge opened in 2001, replacing a medieval crossing built by Rudolf IV of Austria around 1358-1360.
