SpainLos Millares is a Chalcolithic settlement in Santa Fe de Mondújar, Andalucía, Spain, located 17 km north of Almería[1]. The site was inhabited from the fourth millennium BC to the end of the third millennium BC, likely supporting around 1,000 residents[1]. It was discovered in 1891 during railway construction and first excavated by Luis Siret in subsequent years, with excavations continuing today[1]. Los Millares serves as the type site for the Chalcolithic Millaran culture[1].
