Las Bóvedas - Thermae

Located on the right bank of the Guadalmina river near San Pedro de Alcántara in Andalusia, these Roman baths (termas romanas) include massive barrel vaults (bóvedas) that give the site its name, along with fish-salting tanks indicating industrial activity [1]. The baths are believed to be part of the Roman city of Cilniana, a mansio listed in the Antonine Itinerary [1]. They lie near the Paleo-Christian Basilica of Vega del Mar [1]. The site can be visited alongside the well-preserved Villa Romana.
