Cerro del Villar

Cerro del Villar was a Phoenician settlement at the mouth of the Guadalhorce river in southern Spain [1] [2]. Founded in the ninth or eighth century BC, it was abandoned around 584 BC [1] [2]. Archaeological work was directed by María Eugenia Aubet [1] [2].
