SpainA UNESCO World Heritage Site (inscribed 2016) in Andalusia, Spain, comprising three megalithic monuments and two natural landmarks. The Dolmen of Menga (c. 3750-3650 BCE) is the largest in Europe at 27.5 metres long, 6 metres wide, and 3.5 metres high, built with 32 megaliths including stones weighing up to 180 tonnes. The Dolmen of Viera is a c. 4,500-year-old corridor tomb, while the Tholos of El Romeral (c. 1800 BC) features corbelled vault chambers. Together with La Pena de los Enamorados and El Torcal, they represent outstanding examples of European megalithism.
