Ulia

Ulia Fidentia was a Roman municipium in Hispania Baetica, located at modern Montemayor, Cordoba, Spain. During Caesar's Civil War (46-45 BC), when nearly all towns of Hispania Ulterior switched allegiance to Pompey, Ulia remained loyal to Caesar, earning the honorific title Fidentia ("the faithful"). The site had earlier Iberian origins, as evidenced by pre-Roman coinage minted at Ulia. The Museo de Ulia now houses archaeological finds from the ancient city.
