Carmona, Spain

Carmona is a town in Seville province, southwestern Spain, situated 33 km north-east of Seville on a ridge overlooking Andalusia's central plain. Originally founded as a Tartessian-Turdetani settlement, it became a significant Phoenician trading hub during the first millennium BC.
