Runayoc

Runayoc is an archaeological settlement dating to 1–500 AD (Early Horizon to Early Intermediate periods), located on a mountain of the same name in the Huancavelica Region of Peru, at an elevation of approximately 3,400 meters (11,200 feet). The site is situated in the Huaytará Province and District. This ancient settlement represents early Andean urbanism in the Peruvian highlands, characterized by its mountainous location and strategic positioning.[1]
