Paracas Candelabra

The Paracas Candelabra, also called El Candelabro or the Candelabra of the Andes, is a prehistoric geoglyph on the northern face of the Paracas Peninsula at Pisco Bay in Peru[1]. Pottery found nearby has been radiocarbon dated to 200 BCE, corresponding to the Paracas culture period[1]. The trident-shaped design was cut 60 cm (2 ft) into the soil, with stones possibly added later around it[1]. The figure measures approximately 170 m (560 ft) tall and 60 m (200 ft) wide, large enough to be seen from 19 km (12 mi) at sea[1].
