Llaqta Qulluy, Acoria

Llaqta Qulluy is an archaeological site in Peru's Huancavelica Region, Acoria District, whose Quechua name means "extinct town" (llaqta = place/village, qulluy = to die out). It is one of several sites with this name in the Huancavelica Province, indicating a pattern of abandoned pre-Columbian settlements across the region. The site dates to the late pre-Hispanic period (c. 1000-1500 AD) and has been recognized as part of Peru's archaeological heritage.
