Mirq'imarka

Mirq'imarka is an archaeological site in the Puno Region, Moho Province, Moho District of Peru. The name means "old or destroyed village" in Aymara, reflecting the site's ancient origins. Located in the Andean highlands near Lake Titicaca, the site was declared a National Cultural Heritage (Patrimonio Cultural) of Peru by the National Institute of Culture. The Moho District is known for pre-Columbian remains in the greater Lake Titicaca basin.
