Pukarani is a large hilltop archaeological site in the Andes of Peru at approximately 4,300 metres elevation, located in the Puno Region, Lampa Province, Nicasio District. Systematic mapping revealed 30 hectares of ceramic scatter and architecture, making it the largest known Late Intermediate Period site (ca. AD 1100-1450) in the Colla area of the Titicaca basin. Defensive walls exceeding 5 metres in height extend for 2.5 km around the site. It was declared National Cultural Heritage by Resolución Directoral Nacional No. 79.
