Mawk'allaqta, Sandia

Mawk'allaqta (also Mawk'a Llaqta) is an archaeological settlement in the Puno Region of southeastern Peru, located in the Sandia Province within the Sandia District [1] [2] [3]. In recognition of its historical and cultural significance, Mawk'allaqta was declared a National Cultural Heritage (Patrimonio Cultural) of Peru by the National Institute of Culture [1].
