GreeceBuilt in the late 4th century BC or after Galatian attacks, the Stadium of Delphi sits on the highest point of the Archaeological Site of Delphi, overlooking the sanctuary of Apollo with panoramic views of the Delphic landscape[1]. Measuring 178 metres in length, the stadium underwent several refurbishment phases and is the best preserved ancient stadium in Greece[1].
