Cierium (or Kierion) was an ancient Greek polis located in Thessaliotis, Thessaly. According to the Byzantine compiler Stephanus of Byzantium, it succeeded the Homeric city of Arne, which served as the principal settlement of the Aeolian Boeotians before their migration to Boeotia [1].
