Currachjaghju

Currachjaghju is an Early Neolithic archaeological site in the commune of Levie in southern Corsica, France. Dating to the Cardial and Epi-Cardial culture period (c. 6000-5000 BC), it represents one of the earliest known settlements on the island. The site is part of the rich prehistoric heritage of the Alta Rocca region, which also includes the Bronze Age sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula. The Musee Departemental de l'Alta Rocca in Levie houses collections from the site, documenting the prehistory of southern Corsica from its earliest human occupation.
