Apazzu

Apazzu is a prehistoric megalithic site in the Sartenais region of southern Corsica, near Sartène. The site features a stone alignment and a burial mound (tertre) dating to 4500-3000 BCE, corresponding to the Middle Neolithic period[1]. Archaeological excavations have uncovered significant artifacts, including a stone vase with a zoomorphic protome that represents exceptional prehistoric craftsmanship[2].
