St Laurence School - Roman Villa

St Laurence School - Roman Villa (1st–5th c. AD) is an archaeological site in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England. Aerial photographs and minor excavations in 1976 revealed the presence of a Roman villa beneath the school's sports fields[1]. A major excavation in 2003 uncovered Roman-era floor mosaics and walls belonging to the villa complex[1]. The excavations also revealed a stone structure believed to have been part of an early Christian baptistery, suggesting the site may have had later religious significance[1].
