North Bersted Man

(1st c. BC) The North Bersted Man is an Iron Age warrior discovered in 2008 during excavations by Thames Valley Archaeological Services near North Bersted, England. The burial contained an exceptional array of objects, including weapons and artifacts that provide insights into Iron Age burial practices. The individual was approximately 45 years old and stood about 1.72 metres (5.6 ft) tall at the time of death. The site dates to the first century BC and was found within settlement remains spanning from the Iron Age to the Roman period.
