Badbury Hill

Badbury Hill is an Iron Age hill fort in Oxfordshire, England. The roughly circular earthwork enclosure, known as Badbury Camp, was largely levelled in the early 19th century. The site has been suggested as a possible location for the Battle of Mons Badonicus, a 5th or 6th-century confrontation where King Arthur defeated the Anglo-Saxons. Badbury Hill is now covered by woodland, locally known as Badbury Clump [1].
