Roman Odeon

A 2nd-century AD Roman odeon within the Paphos Archaeological Park in southwest Cyprus, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed in 1980. Built into the side of Fabrica Hill from carved limestone, the semicircular structure features 12 rows of stone seating that once accommodated up to 1,200-1,500 spectators. The odeon was used for musical and theatrical performances until the 5th century AD. Partially restored, it continues to host cultural events including the Paphos Choir Festival and Rhythms of Light Festival.
