Asklepieion - Pathos

A Roman-era healing sanctuary dedicated to Asclepius within the UNESCO-listed Paphos Archaeological Park in southwestern Cyprus. Built in the 2nd century AD as part of the civic rebuilding of Nea Paphos, the Roman provincial capital, the complex served as both a religious sanctuary and medical establishment. The large building included several rooms arranged around a square courtyard, situated south of the well-preserved Odeon. The site was destroyed by earthquakes in the 4th century AD.
