Kuntur Amaya is an archaeological necropolis in Bolivia's La Paz Department, Aroma Province, Umala Municipality, near Wayllani. The site features chullpas—cylindrical stone tower tombs used by Aymara-speaking peoples for communal burial practices dating to 1000-1500 AD. It was declared a National Monument on December 12, 2006, preserving these pre-Columbian Andean mortuary structures that reflect ancient social and religious traditions.
