Inkachaka

An Inca archaeological site in Bolivia's Cochabamba Department, Chapare Province, Colomi Municipality. The name means "Inca bridge" in Quechua. The ruins feature stone walls and terraces demonstrating Inca engineering techniques. Inkachaka was declared a Cultural Heritage of Bolivia by Law 2533 on October 24, 2003. The site is best visited during the dry season (May-October) and is surrounded by lush highland scenery near Cochabamba.
