Iskanwaya

Iskanwaya is a pre-Columbian city built by the Mollo culture around 1100 AD, situated on a mountain ridge above the Llica River in Bolivia's Munecas Province, about 280 km north of La Paz. The complex contains roughly 120 buildings spread across 0.6 sq km on two platforms, featuring advanced hydraulic systems and agricultural terraces. Often compared to Machu Picchu, it surpasses the Inca site in both extent and age. Declared Monumental and Archaeological National Heritage in 2011.
