The Giant Tumulus, Großmugl

The Giant Tumulus (Großmugl) is a prehistoric burial mound in Lower Austria, part of a necropolis complex dating from 1500–500 BC. [1] The tumulus was erected by the Kalenderberg culture, likely around 600–500 BC during the Hallstatt period. [1] It represents a significant Bronze Age to Iron Age burial site in the Weinviertel region, situated about 15 km north of Stockerau. [1][2]
