Clunia, Austria

Clunia was an ancient Roman city located in present-day Feldkirch, Vorarlberg, Austria, indicated on the Tabula Peutingeriana as a settlement along the Roman road network [1]. Thought to have functioned as a weigh station between Brigantium (modern Bregenz) and Mediolanum (modern Milan), it served as an important transit point in the Roman province of Raetia [1]. The settlement dates primarily to the 1st through 5th centuries AD [1].
