La Blanca is a Maya pre-Columbian archaeological site in the Mopan River valley of northern Petén, Guatemala[1]. The settlement was predominantly occupied during the Middle Preclassic period and represents the later phase of the Mokaya culture[1]. The site features a large acropolis complex, indicating its importance as a regional center[1]. While some activity dates to the Early Classic, the principal occupation occurred during the Late Classic period, with continued activity into the Early Postclassic[1].
