3500-1800 BC: El Paraíso (also called Chuquitanta) is a Late Preceramic archaeological site in the Chillón Valley on the central coast of Peru, located several kilometers north of Lima in the San Martin de Porres District [1]. One of the largest Preceramic settlements in the Americas, it encompasses over 58 hectares of land [1].
