Crug Hywel (c. 1500–500 BC) is an Iron Age Celtic hillfort in Powys, Wales, featuring a well-preserved earth and stone rampart and ditch system [1]. The flat-topped hill, also known as Table Mountain, rises prominently above the Usk Valley near Crickhowell [1]. The site is accessible via public footpaths from Crickhowell and Llanbedr, including the Beacons Way long-distance trail [1]. It lies within open access land under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act, allowing public roaming [1].
