Perborough Castle is the site of an Iron Age univallate hillfort located at Compton in Berkshire, England [1]. The fort covers approximately 5.7 hectares (14 acres) on the chalky downs of West Berkshire [1]. Excavations in 1838 revealed evidence of a lightly defended, potentially seasonally occupied site with grain storage pits and slag pits indicating limited occupation [1].
