Bullsdown Camp

Bullsdown Camp is an Iron Age multivallate plateau fort between Bramley Green and Sherfield on Loddon in Hampshire, England. The fort encloses 3.4 hectares with a total footprint of 7.3 hectares, defended by two sets of banks and ditches including a substantial inner ditch, outer ditch separated by an 8 m wide berm, and a counterscarp bank. The ramparts are best preserved on the eastern and southern sides, partially levelled to the west, and flattened on the north. The heavily wooded site has never been excavated and sits on a shallow plateau at 65 m elevation near the River Loddon.
