Alabanda Amfi Tiyatro Tarihi Alanı

The Hellenistic theatre of Alabanda, an ancient Carian city founded in the 4th century BC near modern Cine, Aydin Province, Turkey. The theatre features a 19-metre-wide facade and a cavea of approximately 78 metres in diameter divided into seven sections, seating around 6,200 spectators. Modified during the Roman period for gladiatorial combat and animal fights, it sits within a walled city of 4-5 square km that also contained temples to Zeus Chrysaor and Apollo.
