Alabanda Amfi Tiyatro Tarihi Alanı

The Hellenistic theatre of Alabanda, an ancient Carian city near modern Cine, Aydin Province, Turkey [1] [2]. The theatre features a 19-metre-wide facade and a cavea divided into seven sections, seating around 6,200 spectators [2] [3] [4]. Modified during the Roman period for gladiatorial combat and animal fights, it sits within a walled city that also contained temples to Zeus Chrysaor and Apollo [2] [3] [4].
