Amos Antik Kenti

Amos (also spelled Ammos) was an ancient Carian settlement located near modern Turunç in southwestern Turkey [1]. In 2025, ongoing excavations continued to explore the ancient city [2]. Rescue excavations have targeted a burial chamber at the site [3]. The settlement was part of the broader Carian cultural region and served as a small demos (administrative unit) [1].
