SwedenAles Stenar (Ale's Stones) is the largest preserved stone ship in Sweden, located atop a coastal bluff in Kaseberga, Skane. The oval formation is 67 meters long and 19 meters wide, composed of 59 boulders weighing up to 5 tonnes each. Dating is debated: the Swedish National Heritage Board suggests c. 550 AD, while some researchers argue a Bronze Age origin around 2500 years ago. A 1989 excavation uncovered a clay pot with cremated human bones dating to 330-650 AD.
