Sagaholm

A Bronze Age burial site in Ljungarums parish south of Jonkoping, Smaland, Sweden, dating to approximately 1700-500 BC. The site features the largest group of rock engravings discovered in a burial context in northern Europe, with 18 of the 45 surviving sandstone slabs adorned with petroglyphs depicting ships, animals, and human figures. The mound was originally surrounded by up to 100 sandstone slabs, and approximately 1,500 years after its construction, four smaller graves were added at its base. Finds are displayed at Jonkopings County Museum.
