Hassle

Hassle is a Bronze Age site in Orebro County, Sweden, where the renowned Hassle treasure was discovered in 1936 in the parish of Glanshammar. The hoard consists of a large bronze cultic cauldron of a type usually found in Italy and Greece, containing two Hallstatt-type swords, two ciste a cordoni buckets, twelve circular bronze plates with iron fittings, and other bronze objects. Recent lead isotope analyses confirm all items were imported from southern and central Europe. The artifacts are held at the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm.
