Yaynu is a hilltop archaeological site in Peru's Ancash Region, Pomabamba Province, Huayllan District [1]. It is the most important evidence of the Recuay culture in Ancash [1]. Yaynu was declared a National Cultural Heritage site by Peruvian authorities in 2004 [1].
