Isog

Isog is an archaeological site in Peru's Huanuco Region, Huamalies Province, Tantamayo District, declared National Cultural Heritage in 2002. It lies on the northern slope of Mt. Susupillo, part of the broader Tantamayo Archaeological Complex containing over 80 sites built by the Yarowilca culture (10th-14th centuries AD). The complex is renowned for monumental stone buildings reaching 11 meters high with up to 6 stories, surrounded by defensive walls.
