Late Intermediate Period funerary site at 3,932 m elevation in the Huanuco Region of Peru, Huamalies Province, above the village of Carhuapata. The 3-hectare site on the slope and summit of Auquin hill features cylindrical chullpa tombs approximately 1.5 m high with trapezoidal south-facing openings and false-vault roofing. The summit holds quadrangular and circular structures with interior niches, while larger rectangular buildings reach 5 m in height with stone-corbel supports. Exterior walls display successive stone cornices in two to three levels.
