Markahirka

Markahirka (or Mawk'a Llaqta) is a rock art site in Peru's Ancash Region, Huari Province, featuring cave paintings and pre-Hispanic stone tombs (chullpa) dating to 1000–1500 AD[1]. Located on a mountain of the same name in the districts of Cajay and Masin, it sits at 3,580 metres (11,745 ft) elevation[1]. The site offers panoramic views over the Puchka (Puchca) valley and toward the towns of Huari and Huachis[1].
