Pre-Columbian archaeological site in the Huanuco Region of Peru, located in Yarowilca Province, Obas District. The name possibly derives from Quechua awkillu (deity) and waqra (horn). Declared part of the National Cultural Heritage of Peru in 2006, the site dates to the Late Intermediate Period (c. 1000-1470 AD) and is associated with the highland cultures that preceded Inca expansion into the region.
