Mérida Anthropological Museum

The Museo Regional de Antropologia de Yucatan, housed in the Palacio Canton on Paseo de Montejo in Merida, Mexico [1]. Built between 1904 and 1911 in Beaux Arts style for Governor Francisco Canton Rosado, it became a museum under Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) [1] [2] [3]. The permanent collection spans from the pre-Classic to the late post-Classic Maya period [1]. The upper floor hosts temporary exhibitions, educational workshops, and cultural events [2].
