Temple of Segesta

The Temple of Segesta is an ancient temple built around 420 BC in the hilltop archaeological area of Calatafimi Segesta in western Sicily [1] [2]. The well-preserved structure features six by fourteen Doric columns and was likely never completed, lacking a roof and interior cella [2] [3]. Located in the province of Trapani, the temple remains one of the best-preserved examples of classical Greek architecture in Sicily [1].
