Tel Hazor National Park

Tel Hazor, located in Upper Galilee north of the Sea of Galilee, was one of the most important cities in the Fertile Crescent [1]. The city maintained commercial networks with Babylon and Syria, importing large quantities of tin for bronze production [1]. Mentioned in the Book of Joshua as "the head of all those kingdoms," Hazor controlled vital trade routes [1] [2].
