GreeceA 6th-century BC Greek temple on Cape Zoster at Vouliagmeni, near Athens. Named after the myth that Leto loosened her zoster (belt) here to give birth to Apollo and Artemis. Discovered accidentally in 1924 by orphanage children who uncovered a column on a nearby beach, with formal excavations beginning in 1926. The rectangular limestone temple measures approximately 10.8 by 6 metres, featuring a sekos, adyton, and marble pedestals that once held statues of Apollo, Leto, and Artemis.
