The Oppidum d'Enserune is a major Gallic hill-town near Nissan-lez-Enserune, between Beziers and Narbonne in southern France, occupied continuously from the 6th century BC to the 1st century AD. Situated at a crossroads of Iberian, Celtic, Greek, and Italic influences, it grew into one of the most important settlements in the Mediterranean south of France. The site museum houses one of the finest collections of Attic vases in southern France, along with Gallic weapons and adornments from over a century of excavations. It is classified as a National Monument and part of the Exceptional Sites network.
