Spoonley Wood Roman Villa is a courtyard-type Roman villa located 2 km south-east of Sudeley Castle near Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England [1]. Excavated in 1882, the villa dates from the 1st to 5th century AD and represents a substantial Roman rural settlement in the Cotswolds region [1]. Some remains, partly reconstructed, can still be seen in Spoonley Wood, with one mosaic viewable under a corrugated iron roof [1].
