Rollright Stones

The Rollright Stones are a complex of three Neolithic and Bronze Age megalithic monuments near Long Compton, on the Oxfordshire-Warwickshire border. [1] Constructed from local oolitic limestone, they comprise the King's Men (a stone circle), the Whispering Knights (a burial chamber), and the King Stone (a single monolith). [1] Built between the 4th and 2nd millennium BCE, they represent different periods of late prehistoric ritual activity. [1]
